Get ready to return to the glamorous world of The Bold and the Beautiful. The fashion-centric CBS soap opera will be back on television with all-new episodes this month -- and the juicy storyline details have already been released.

After becoming the first U.S. scripted series to return to production during the coronavirus pandemic, The Bold and the Beautiful is set to return to television with all-new episodes on Monday, July 20.

The first original episode of the CBS soap opera will pick up right where the series left off when they ran out of new episodes in April. As teased by Deadline, Katie (Heather Tom) will open up to Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) about how Quinn (Rena Sofer) sabotaged Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge's (Thorsten Kaye) reunion party. Then, Zoe (Kiara Barnes) and Carter will discuss her whirlwind romance with Thomas (Matthew Atkinson), how he was exposed for his manipulations and lies at their wedding, and how Hope (Annika Noelle) and Liam (Scott Clifton) were able to overcome everything and reunite. Finally, Zoe and Carter will learn about Sally's (Courtney Hope) illness and what Wyatt (Darin Brooks) and Flo (Katrina Bowden) did when they found out.

As Soap Central previously reported, B&B's upcoming all-new episodes will feature two new cast additions. The first is Tanner Novlan, who will step into the role of John "Finn" Finnegan -- Steffy's (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) doctor and love interest -- on Wednesday, July 23. The second is Delon de Metz, who has been chosen as a recast to play the character of Eric Forrester's (John McCook) grandson, Zende Forrester. De Metz's debut airdate is not yet announced.

The Bold and the Beautiful joined all four daytime dramas in a forced hiatus earlier this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It became the first U.S. broadcast series to return to production when it got back up and running again on June 16. Just one day later, however, B&B pushed pause again to modify its testing protocol after what the producers described as "several false positives." Following a switch to a new lab, the CBS soap resumed production once again on June 24 and has been taping ever since.

B&B executive producer Brad Bell spoke with Soap Central about some of the behind-the-scenes changes the show has implemented as part of its COVID-19 safety protocols.
