Not everything that goes on at The Daytime Emmys makes it to the live broadcast. Some of the most memorable - and crazy - things happen behind the scenes!

If it's Emmy season, it must mean that Emmy winner Adrienne Frantz (Amber Moore, The Bold and the Beautiful) is having some sort of misadventure. In 2001, the year that she captured the Outstanding Younger Actress Emmy, Frantz's limo was struck by another vehicle en route to the Emmy ceremony. Frantz escaped uninjured. Last year, Frantz ran into more trouble -- her hairstylist was a no-show and she was forced to take care of things herself at the last minute. Surely it couldn't happen again... right?

"My zipper almost broke and we lost my dress at one point in time. Well, the hotel lost my dress," Frantz revealed. "There's always something with me it -- can never be right. It happens at all awards shows!"

On a different note, as it were, Frantz revealed that she has recently wrapped up production of a new record that will be out later this year.

Rumblings of a possible pairing between All My Children's Bianca and Maggie continue to make the rounds. "I hope we end up together!" revealed Elizabeth Hendrickson (Maggie Stone) "[Eden Riegel, Bianca] and I great friends and we work fabulously together."

In the real world, however, Hendrickson walked the red carpet with boyfriend Agim Kaba (Aaron Snyder, As the World Turns), who was nominated this year in the Outstanding Younger Actor category.

They say it was an accident, but there has been criticism of a questionable editing decision made during the Emmy telecast. Following a montage "celebrating" the criminal activity in daytime television -- complete with snippets of Days of Our Live's serial killer -- a camera zoomed in on Martha Stewart, who was seated in the audience at Radio City Music Hall. Stewart, a four-time Emmy winner in the Outstanding Service Show Host, has had her share of legal problems recently.

Emmy winner Jennifer Finnigan (Bridget Forrester, The Bold and the Beautiful) revealed that one of her previous Emmys suffered some sort of accident -- and its wings fell off. Never fear, though, the Emmy comes with some sort of warranty and it was promptly restored to its original state. Finnigan's fractured trophy will have plenty of company while it recuperates -- the actress won her third Emmy this year.

Finnigan isn't alone in her mishap. Previous winner Jacob Young (Adam Chandler, JR, All My Children) revealed that the Emmy his won for his work on General Hospital broke -- and this year's Supporting Actress winner Cady McClain lost a wing on her Emmy while making the part circuit.

Was that Colleen Dion trying to sneak down the Red Carpet unnoticed? Yup, it sure was. Dion, a veteran of a number of soaps, said her manager had suggested she check out this year's Emmys to see if anyone would remember her. Here are some of her daytime roles -- no matter what soaps you watch, you can't help but remember her! Ramona Hendon on Guiding Light, Dahlia Ventura on As the World Turns, Leslie Coulson on All My Children, Brett Gardner on Another World, Felicia Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful, Cecilia Thompson on Loving and Evie Stone on Search for Tomorrow, which was her first daytime role in 1985.

Dion is reprising her B&B role in July.

Ellen DeGeneres capped off what has been an incredible year -- which some have referred to as her "comeback year" -- with the Academy naming her self-titled talk show the Outstanding Talk Show this year. DeGeneres earned rave reviews for vocal work as Dory in the motion picture "Finding Nemo."

In somewhat of a surprise, Wayne Brady earned Talk Show Host honors in his show's final year. Brady, who was not present for this year's awards, also won top host and top show honors last year. Due to poor ratings, however, his show was not renewed and aired its last original episode earlier this month.
