Soap opera fans are used to reading into everything very closely in search of clues that may help them unlock the mysteries of the stories unraveling on their screens, so it's no surprise that many were quick to try and extrapolate a hidden meaning in a tweet made by General Hospital star Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos).
The actress shared that she was having a craving for French toast -- a food she says she never eats. And before she knew it, rumors were spreading that the unusual food craving must mean that she and her beau, Wes Ramsey (Peter August), are expecting a baby.
As soon as Wright got wind of the rumors, she quickly shut them down. "Hey guys, I'm not pregnant," she announced. "I was just craving french toast. That's all." And she added a hashtag to say "#stillam."

Wright and Ramsey went public with their relationship in 2017, and even though the pair currently costar on GH, they actually met many years ago, when they were both cast members on Guiding Light. As soap fans may recall, Wright played Cassie Layne, and Ramsey played Sam Spencer.
In related news, it seems Wright has yet to find any French toast. Here's hoping all her craving wishes come true in October -- or at the very least, on November 28, which is National French Toast Day!
