The people of Port Charles are experiencing some explosive drama as General Hospital takes viewers on a wild November Sweeps ride, but one actor will definitely not be included in the drama: Inga Cadranel (Harmony Miller).
The actress took to Twitter to announce that she has unfortunately had to cut ties with GH, where she has been playing Willow's (Katelyn MacMullen) mother since February 2019.
"I absolutely treasured my time on @GeneralHospital. The most wonderful ppl, I am so grateful," she shares, adding that another project that she's involved in prevented her from returning to her daytime role. "I'm in Toronto filming and with quarantine [coronavirus-related safety precautions involving travel], timing didn't work."
The actress also thanks fans for "making [her] feel welcome" and teases that she could pop up in Port Charles at some point down the line. "You never know what the future may bring," she writes.

In a separate tweet to a fan, Cadranel admits that she is sad that her time on GH was cut short, especially because she "always thought Jason and Harmony would hook up!"
Fans who want to see that happen might not have to give up hope completely. After all, GH may be planning to recast the role of Harmony -- and you never know what the powers that be have in mind for future storylines. Keep checking back to Soap Central for GH casting updates as they come.
As for the project that has taken Cadranel away from her soap role, it appears to be the Netflix sitcom Workin' Moms, a Canadian series that follows a group of friends dealing with the challenges of being -- you guessed it -- working moms. Cadranel has been sharing Instagram posts about her new gig, which is currently shooting its fifth season in Toronto.
In addition to appearing on GH, some of Cadranel's acting credits include Bones, Dark Matter, Orphan Black, Lost Girl, and The Strain.
