The soaps will celebrate this Independence Day by rebroadcasting episodes that feature fireworks, a baby announcement, and the celebration of the life of a beloved character.

Soap fans will get a chance to enjoy a side of classic soap opera episodes with their cookouts and fireworks this Fourth of July. Three of the four soaps will rebroadcast previously aired episodes in place of brand-new ones.

The Bold and the Beautiful will air an episode that first aired on July 4, 2018. In the episode, Liam is overwhelmed with emotion when Hope tells him that she's pregnant. Also in the episode, Sally Spectra decorates for the holiday as she and Wyatt discuss her future at Forrester. You can read Soap Central's recap of this episode here.

General Hospital will air a special episode from earlier this year that celebrated the life of Nurse Epiphany Johnson. The March 29, 2023, episode was dedicated to actress Sonya Eddy, who passed away in December 2022. You can read Soap Central's recap of this episode here.

On The Young and the Restless, the show will reach back more than 30 years for a classic episode in which John Abbott hosts family and friends for a special July 4th celebration. The episode originally aired July 3, 1992.

Days of our Lives will stream an all-new episode on Peacock, but a DAYS spokesperson confirms that the show will be centered around the July 4th holiday.
